The lives of two longtime friends take different directions as they become adults. Robert

becomes a successful man, living a middle class life with his wife and children. Vernon on the

other hand is struggling, having made some bad decisions and encountering some bad breaks.

Vernon is in need of help and turns to his longtime friend whom he refers to as his brother.
